Professional Background
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Carolina in 2000 and am licensed through the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board (License #: C004685). Over the years, I have gained extensive experience working with individuals, families, and groups, addressing a variety of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges.
Therapeutic Approach
My therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based methods, drawing from:
- Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Solution-Focused Therapy
- Reality Therapy
- Interpersonal and Developmental Theories
I am also specifically trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help clients process and recover from traumatic experiences.

I have a particular passion for working with individuals facing challenges such as:

- Trauma, including sexual and physical abuse
- Child and Adolescent Development
- Family Dynamics and Systems
- Play Therapy
